I am very fond of cemeteries. Many of them are well kept, peaceful and serene, especially on warm sunny days and cool autumn afternoons. There's lots of life and living going on: squirrels, birds, deer, woodpeckers. Listening to nature in these surroundings is quite peaceful. When I do visit, I spend hours walking and photographing my favorite statues and tombstones. The older and weathered looking they are the better.
This collection of images are from my wanderings covering multiple states featuring lifelike statues, creepy stained ones, and a couple of them where I had some Photoshop fun. Click on any image to view it in full form.
